Rules of registration

Reffurence is a private event, that uses a specific system in order to allow for as much chance of participating in our event as possible. Where the hotel tickets are limited and quite popular, the day tickets are also available. It is a possibility that due to rules and regulations there is a maximum capacity on the number of tickets available.

To register for the event, you will need an account on our website. Accounts from the first edition unfortunately, can not be used again and if you don’t have one already, it is highly recommended to create one before the registration for the event opens to speed up the registration process.

Reffurence uses a staged-registration process on which you are allowed as much time as possible, with the most freedom as possible in order to register for the event. It is explained in more detail on this page. There is also a fully calculated table below, where you can see the costs each per individual attendee. Daytickets and sponsor pack upgrades will be processed after the first wave of room registrations.

How our system works

Creating your accounts

First step is to register yourself at our online registration system. ALL attendees (hotel, daytickets, sponsorpacks, etc.) should have an account and be fully known before being able to register.

Pre-Registration

The second stage of our registration system will include creating a room-share with all the stuff you want to include. Early arrival? Sponsorpacks? Late departure? No problem, you can add all your wishes to your roomshare.

Registration

It doesn't matter who's first, but during the actual registration for the rooms, it's possible to register the "whole" room at once. Just make sure everything is filled out and ready to go before the registration date to make sure you won't have any problems.

Room Host

The host of a room has to pay the total amount for the room, the invitees to the room only have to pay for their contickets. Only the host of the room can pay for the room, but they can do it in a couple terms.

Payment

After your registration application has been confirmed and you've got a spot at Reffurence (congrats!) but also, then it's time to keep an eye on your inbox. Payment links will be sent out automatically, you will be able to see the status on your dashboard!

Tickets

After all the payments have been done (room and conticket for the host) or (conticket for invitees) your ticket will become valid, generating an QR-code for you to use during registration.

Checkin at the event

At the event, our registrationdesk will require a QR-code for you to be able to check-in at our convention. Jippie!

What you see is what you get and sometimes you can get even more than you wished for in the beginning. Use our handy-dandy calculator to tick off all the stuff you want to have and make sure that you check your final score on the right.

Payment Methods

The registration system accepts the following (digital) payment options; Master Card, Visa, Discover and American Express. Maestro (iDeal, Bancontact), SEPA, SOFORT, Giropay, KBC/CBC, Belfius. We do not accept cash-by-mail, cash-on-site or Paypal.

For on-site sales (i.e. Merchandise, etc.), we accept Visa, V PAY, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, or Union Pay logo as well as NFC payments via Google and Apple Pay.

Please note that all transactions will be charged in EUR.

Purchasing Goods

In the dealers den it is dependent on the dealer which payment method will be available. This could be cash-only, card or a combination of those.

Sponsor packages include specific merchandise items, however, generic (and previous year) merchandise items can be purchased at the Reffurence stand.
